I wear all my tee shirts to the gym! So the people on the treadmill next to me know I support my folks....but I only have like 3 shirts that are really show stopping: My Million Woman March shirt, my Negro League Baseball tee, and this shirt I got while in college that states "Our Young black men are dying, and noone seems to care." I still feel like no one cares, so as a strong black woman, I tell as many fathers as i can the importance of their presence in their sons lives! I feel like the art of activism has died, because folks seems to get hype for the moment, but don't keep the fire going! Are you lighting the match baby girl?

My writing is that spark! I'm not someone who marches in the forefront, but I think using my pen is just as powerful a weapon to educate and spark someone's mind who otherwie might not have known about something or even to make someone think twice about something. You know my feelings about how things are handled for and towards Black Americans and how I do try to disseminate any information that comes my way to enlighten and uplift! I don't ever claim to be Angela Davis, but I am Donielle Jones! (D.Mahogany)
